1. What are the precautions must be followed?

a. The derma roller is for personal use only. Don’t share with others.

b. It shouldn’t be used on open wounds or Irritated skin.

c. Don’t use if allergic to metal.

d. Always sterilize before and after use to prevent infections. Don't use hot water to sterilize it.

e. Must not use any irritating and comedogenic cosmetics after usage.

2. What is Dermal Roller CE & RoHS Certified Product?

CE Approval is a quality approval for European countries that illustrates a product has the highest quality and safety standards. RoHS approval is given if the product is free from any kind of hazardous substances such as Lead, Cadmium and Mercury.

3. What creams can I use after the treatment?

The best products are Vitamin C serum, Retin-A cream, Copper Peptide serum, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic acid serum or Collagen cream. They help speed up healing and boost collagen production. They are said to enhance results. Many experts also suggest the application of antibacterial cream after treatment to prevent risks of infection and speed up recovery.

4. Is it painful to use Derma roller?

Generally, derma rolling is not painful at all, but most users have experienced mild pricking sensations. The longer the needle length, the more intense the sensation. Additionally, you can apply numbing cream before treatment to eliminate any pain.

5. Does it make your skin bleed?

There will be a slight bleeding because you are puncturing your skin with needles. This can also be the result of applying too much pressure when derma rolling. DO NOT PANIC! Bleeding is very common when using a derma roller. You should always apply light to moderate pressure. Needles of size 0.75mm and above causes bleeding. Hence must be done under medical supervision.

6. How often should you use the derma roller?

Rolling every other day can be done with 0.25 mm to 0.3 mm needle length only, but it is advised to wait several days for your skin to heal before another treatment if your skin is still irritated. For 0.5mm roller, you can use it once or twice a week or once per week ONLY if your skin can tolerate weekly treatment without excessive redness, dryness or irritation. If you are using a needle length of 0.75mm and above, it is highly recommended waiting 4 to 6 weeks before next treatment. Your skin needs at least 30 days for a full recovery. 7. Does it Work on Cellulite, Pimple, Acne or Milia?

Derma roller won’t be 100% effective on cellulite. It breaks down and renews collagen fibers. Cellulite is a fatty tissue. It has nothing to do with collagen. In general, if you have pimples or milia, you should avoid treating the area with pimples/milia until it is cleared up. Using a roller alone can not treat acne or milia, but using it with effective topical product can help improve your results. 8. Can I Roll My Upper Eyelids?

9. How to Clean, Disinfect or Sterilize Your Derma Roller?

You can clean, disinfect or sterilize your skin roller using isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or even denture tablets. Isopropyl alcohol is highly recommended. You should submerge your roller into a cup of isopropyl alcohol for 15 to 20 minutes (the longer the better!).

Do not use hot water as the roller is made of hard plastic, it may disfigure.

10. Can I wear Makeup or Sunscreen After Treatment?

DO NOT wear makeup or sunscreen immediately after treatment because they will absorb deeply into your skin through the micro-punctures/micro-channels.

11. How long does a Roller Head Last?

With proper handling, roller head should last 9-10 months with weekly use for 0.5mm. It is highly recommended to treat your skin once or twice per month with 0.75 to 1.0mm ONLY if your skin can tolerate mulitple treatments. Therefore your roller should last at least 1 year. The life span of your roller also depends on the following factors: - Your treatment area (your roller will become dull faster with large treatment area) - The number of treatments - The aggressiveness of your treatment - The quality of your roller - Facial or body treatment Important Note: If you are treating your body, you might need to replace your roller sooner because your body has thicker skin, and it will dull the roller faster.

12. When should you dispose of the Derma Roller?

The Derma roller should last more than 20 treatments with proper handling. But if you accidentally drop the roller and bend the needles, it is highly advisable to dispose of it immediately. If you are treating your body, you might need to replace your roller every 3 to 4 months. Your roller can become dull quicker by penetrating thicker skin on your body. It is vital to note that sharing a derma roller is not recommended and can be risky.
